To load Russian keyboard/screen driver, type in the following line in DOS prompt : rusex.com /MODE:128 If you want to remove Russian driver from memory after finishing EpiMap, type in the following line in DOS prompt : rusex.com /UNLOAD Step 3 : Installing EpiMap To install EpiMap type in the following line in the DOS prompt : >rusex /MODE:128 === This will load Russian driver >install.exe === This will start installation Then follow the instruction on the screen. You will be asked to define source and destination drives, type of installation ( installation or copying ). Source drive is where your installation files are located. Directory does not make any difference. Destination drive is where you want to install EpiMap. EpiMap will always be installed in the directory epimapr on the destination drive. Type of installation is installation. When you are asked for changes in autoexec.bat and config.sys, select Yes. Then you will be asked to select displey, printer, and parts of EpiMap that should be installed. When everything is selected, press F4. When installation completes, restart the computer. Step 4 : Copying Russian driver Installation program does not install support for Russian language, so that you have to do it yourself. Type in >copy \rusex.com in DOS prompt. Step 5 : Starting EpiMap To start EpiMap, type in the following line in DOS prompt : >rusex /MODE:128 // To start Russian driver >epimap.exe // To start EpiMap Installing EpiMap manual Now, when EpiMap is installed, you can install its manual.
