The following is a description of all the buttons and menus available on the
StumbleUpon toolbar. If you do not find the answer here,
you can also check out our F.A.Q.. Failing that, feel free to Contact us for assistance, or ask your fellow
stumblers for help using our forum.
The Stumble Button: Clicking the Stumble Button shows you a new great site. These pages are personalized recommendations – sites from friends and like-minded people which match your interests. |
The Topic Selector: The topic selector allows you to choose the
category of your next stumble. This lets to you discover new websites related to the selected topic. Selecting "Any

The Rating
Buttons: The sites you 'stumble upon' have been suggested (rated I like it!) by like-minded community members. Whenever you click
'I like it' you pass this page on to other community members. Your suggestion is automatically classified and presented to others with matching interests – in effect you share sites with members who like the same things you do.
Rating pages you 'stumble upon' gives
your opinion on their quality, refining your preferences in the process. The
easiest way to improve your 'stumbles' is to rate your favorite websites
(whether you 'stumbled upon' them or not). This lets other people see your
favorites sites, and connects you to other members who like these pages. |
The Profile Button: Clicking this button takes you to the profile of the person who suggested the page you 'stumbled upon'. This person introduced the page to the community by being the first one to say 'I like it'. When you get a great stumble this is the person to thank.
The Email Button:
Use this button to quickly email the page you are currently at to one of your friends.
Simply select their address from the list and an email will be sent letting them know about this site. This is a great way to pass on a Stumble which you know a friend would be interested in.
